Job Description

Director leading U.S. strategy for Hepatology/Immunology portfolio at GSK. Driving market insights, product development, and financial valuations to support medicine launch and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead U.S. portfolio and pipeline strategy for Hepatology/Immunology medicines
  • Develop and deliver U.S. market analyses and insights
  • Translate U.S. customer perspectives into clinical and health outcome needs
  • Establish U.S.-specific insights and market assumptions
  • Drive U.S. business growth through portfolio vision and strategic planning
  • Create market maps for the current and future portfolio
  • Lead U.S. portfolio and lifecycle strategy across in-line and pipeline assets
  • Develop and deliver U.S. market analyses and insights for the pipeline
  • Identify therapeutic and asset-related customer insights
  • Deliver asset-level recommendations for stage-gate decisions
  • Develop and maintain a long-range portfolio vision for Hepatology/Immunology
  • Maintain understanding of current and future market trends for reimbursement
  • Lead asset reviews and deliver aligned recommendations for the U.S.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required (e.g., Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare roles (e.g., product marketing, medical/clinical, new products, market access, insights and analytics, portfolio/strategy)
  • Experience developing and delivering market analyses and customer insights to inform clinical development plans, financial valuations, and/or stage-gate decisions for pipeline or in-line assets.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Medical, R&D, Insights & Analytics, Forecasting, Health Outcomes, Finance, and Business Development, as well as Brand, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory partners.
  • Experience leading complex asset/portfolio reviews and delivering insight-driven recommendations that influence senior stakeholder decisions
  • Experience presenting and delivering data-driven strategies to executive audiences (live and virtual)
