Job Description
Director of Brand Marketing Partnerships at Stocktwits focused on growing brand relationships with affluent audiences. Leverage marketing expertise to meet revenue targets and enhance brand performance.
Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a portfolio of brand marketing relationships, with a focus on brands seeking to reach affluent, influential male audiences across categories such as luxury, retail, automotive, spirits, and premium lifestyle.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets from brand and agency partners.
- Prospect, identify, and close new brand partnerships, leveraging existing relationships with CMOs, Heads of Brand, Media Directors, and senior agency decision-makers.
- Build trusted, consultative relationships with clients, positioning Stocktwits as a premium, data-driven platform for brand storytelling and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design custom, integrated marketing programs that align brand objectives with Stocktwits’ community, data, events and product offerings.
- Accurately forecast revenue on a quarterly basis and maintain disciplined pipeline management.
- Develop a deep understanding of Stocktwits’ platform, audience, and data capabilities, as well as the broader digital media, fintech, and premium brand marketing landscape.
- Provide leadership with regular updates on pipeline health, revenue performance, and market insights to inform strategic planning.
- Represent Stocktwits at industry events and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and relationships.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience selling B2C digital media, brand marketing, or sponsorship solutions, ideally to luxury, premium, or lifestyle brands.
- A proven track record of closing high-value brand partnerships.
- Established relationships with senior brand and agency decision-makers (CMOs, Heads of Brand/Marketing, Media Leads) at companies targeting affluent male audiences.
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate brand goals into compelling marketing solutions.
- Ability to build credibility quickly and operate comfortably at the executive level.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves and help shape a growing brand sales function.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute, iterate, and optimize based on performance.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working across sales, marketing, and product teams.
