Job Description
Director of Category Growth taking charge of a multi-million dollar product category focused on Amazon growth at Hadley Designs. Role emphasizes ownership, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Own Category Growth, Optimize Performance, and Expand Market Dominance.
- Take full ownership of a multi-million dollar product category, with Amazon as the primary growth channel.
- Ongoing optimization of product positioning, content, pricing, and promotional strategy
- Identification and validation of new product and expansion opportunities
- Lifecycle management of existing products to ensure continued relevance and profitability
- Inventory and demand planning to support growth while managing cost and risk
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product Operations, Supply Chain, and Design teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience owning product or category growth in e-commerce or marketplaces
- Proven ability to scale revenue and profitability, either as a brand owner or within a growth team
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort making decisions from performance data
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central or the ability to quickly master platform-specific tools
- Comfortable operating within defined systems before pushing for change
- Motivated by clear goals, performance benchmarks, and winning as part of a high-performing team
- Collaborative, accountable, and driven by continuous improvement
