Job Description
Director of Clinical Operations ensuring exceptional patient experience and quality outcomes in palliative care. Leading clinical operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance oversight to clinical managers
- Serve as a primary operational liaison between clinical teams and health plan care management teams
- Oversee onboarding and training for care teams and clinical managers
- Lead quality operations, including monitoring and improving adherence to clinical workflows
- Ensure regulatory compliance and best practices in patient care management
- Own performance against operational, clinical, and quality goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve patient engagement and workflow optimization
- Address escalated operational issues and implement solutions
- Partner with clinical/provider leadership to ensure appropriate staffing models
Requirements:
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in clinical operations, care management, population health, or managed care
- RN required, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading clinical managers and interdisciplinary teams
- Highly analytical and metrics-driven
- Strong cross-functional leadership and change management skills
- Ability to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Experience developing and executing onboarding, training, and competency pathways for clinical staff and managers
- Strong understanding of health plan operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards
