Job Description
Director of Corporate Marketing at CALSTART, focusing on strategic storytelling and messaging in clean transportation initiatives. Leading integrated marketing efforts and cross-functional teams for impactful communications.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and tell the external brand marketing narrative
- Ensure consistent, differentiated messaging across all channels
- Direct development of value propositions, audience personas, and positioning
- Coordinate integrated marketing programs spanning content strategy, demand generation, digital, events, PR, and brand management
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate complex technical concepts into clear, executive-ready communications
- Manage and influence external agencies and internal cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or master's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field a plus.
- 12 to 15+ years in marketing leadership roles with strong emphasis on messaging, product/solutions marketing, and storytelling. Experience in B2B, B2B2C, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
- Working knowledge of the electric vehicle space is required. Familiarity with the fleet industry is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex concepts into clear, executive-ready language
- Proven ability to develop and manage brand messaging, value propositions, and multiple audience personas
- Strong project management and process orientation
