Job Description
Divisional Reliability Manager optimizing asset health, uptime, and production across Georgia-Pacific’s OSB/CP building-products manufacturing sites. Leading regional reliability teams and data-driven improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage reliability initiatives throughout the OSB/CP division
- Ensure optimal asset health, minimize equipment downtime, and enhance production rates
- Apply Principle Based Management to develop and empower a diverse team
- Foster continuous improvement and drive long-term value creation
- Use data-driven methodologies and industry best practices to maximize asset availability and maintain asset health
- Build compliance with the BP Asset Maintenance Work Process (AMWP)
- Support safety and environmental standards and mitigate operational risks
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve divisional reliability asset strategies, standards, and programs
- Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Reliability Leaders across multiple sites
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Safety teams to identify reliability risks and mitigation plans
- Apply RCM, RCA, FMEA, and PdM techniques to improve asset health and reliability
- Oversee reliability improvement plans at segment and site levels
- Partner with the Collaborative Support Center and OSB/CP division ACO/DPO team
- Identify assets out of standard and execute asset health improvement events
- Build effective remote monitoring strategies
- Prepare and present reliability performance reports to senior and divisional leadership and stakeholders
- Use economic thinking and marginal analysis
- Build trusted relationships, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable
- Foster inclusion, challenge, and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in reliability engineering, operations, or maintenance management
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Ideally, experience applying PBM or similar principle-based frameworks
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Ability to create an inclusive, challenge-driven environment
- Proven expertise in reliability engineering tools and techniques, including RCM, RCA, FMEA, PdM, and CMMS
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency with reliability software tools and data visualization platforms
- Experience in wood products manufacturing facilities, especially OSB/CP manufacturing, preferred
- Experience with MP2 as a CMMS preferred
- Familiarity with IoT, Industry 4.0, and predictive analytics preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Ability to travel 50% to multiple facilities within the division
- Must successfully pass a drug test where applicable
