Job Description
Editor-in-Chief driving strategic development of Education journals at Wiley. Involved in editorial processes, networking with global educational research communities, and overseeing best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic development of journals in the Education portfolio
- Establish and maintain a strong global network of authors, peer reviewers and board members
- Oversee editorial evaluation, peer review, and decision making for submitted manuscripts
- Represent Wiley at conferences and outreach activities
Requirements:
- A PhD degree in educational research
- Manuscript handling experience
- Demonstrated commissioning experience
- Strong global networks within research communities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative setting
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
