Job Description

EAP Clinical Counselor delivering timely mental health support via video, chat, or phone for Aetna Mental Wellbeing. Transforming access to mental health care through tech-enabled services.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-demand, single session consultations, clinical assessments, triage, and informational services.
  • Leverage advanced technology platforms to enhance customer experience, ensuring optimal outcomes by connecting members to the right solutions at the right time, in order to meet their needs.
  • Support members in their preferred communication modality, whether via phone, video, or chat, for personalized and effective care.

Requirements:

  • Valid, unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, or Clinical Psychologist)
  • 1+ year of experience in crisis intervention.
  • Ability to work Thursday-Sunday from 3am-1:30pm Eastern Standard Time.
  • 1+ year of experience in EAP, behavioral health, or social services (preferred).
  • Previous experience working with diverse populations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with brief therapy models and Motivational Interviewing (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a call center environment (preferred).
  • Previous experience in delivering services via multiple platforms (chat, video, phone) (preferred).
  • Strong rapport-building skills (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent multitasking abilities, and proficiency in using various technology platforms and tools (preferred).
