Job Description
Energy Specialist at Evergreen Energy Partners ensuring installations meet quality standards and providing customer support during the installation process. Working remotely to manage numerous field assignments and client interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience as part of an innovative program.
- Verify window heat pumps are properly sized, installed, and operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the program's inventory of window heat pumps.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and replacements.
- Perform post-installation quality assurance inspections.
- Serve as a trusted resource for customers by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Ensure every installation meets program quality standards.
- Work closely with contractors, program staff, and utility partners to ensure successful delivery of the program.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to inspect mechanical equipment and identify installation issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
- Comfortable communicating technical information to homeowners.
- Proficient with tablets, mobile applications, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service territory.
- Previous experience working in a virtual environment is helpful but not required.
- Experience with HVAC, heat pumps, energy efficiency, weatherization, home performance, or residential construction preferred.
- EPA Section 608 Certification, BPI Certification, HVAC licensure or equivalent technical credentials are a plus.
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, or equivalent field experience preferred.
