Job Description

Engineer II supporting civil and structural design for utility-scale energy projects. Collaborating with external firms and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring projects meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of utility-scale energy projects by ensuring civil and structural systems meet project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with external engineering firms, review and issue plans and specifications, and perform engineering calculations.
  • Provide technical guidance to support project development and execution.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve design challenges.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering best practices while delivering complex renewable energy projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, or related field from an EBET accredited college required.
  • Two years of progressive engineering and/or engineering supervisory experience in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.
  • Surveying and renewables-focused experience are a plus.
  • Travel for procurement and project-based purposes (nationwide). Position is estimated to require travel 33% of time, subject to fluctuations as needs dictate.
