Job Description
Engineering Manager leading software development at Counterpart Health. Managing a team to enhance healthcare outcomes through innovative technology.
Responsibilities:
- Drive team impact by fostering high technical productivity and reliability.
- Cultivate a healthy, results-driven, and collaborative team culture.
- Represent the team in engineering-wide planning, initiatives, and processes.
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape our technical roadmap and solve problems that improve the patient and doctor experience.
- Set and communicate clear team objectives that align with Counterpart's company goals and roadmap.
- Lead hiring, development, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team.
Requirements:
- You have technical leadership experience managing teams of 3+ engineers.
- You have a strong background in system design and proficiency in general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.
- You have a track record of leading development projects while creating opportunities for others to grow into leadership roles.
- You have experience in fast-paced environments, making quick, strategic decisions under competing constraints.
- You have a proven ability to successfully deliver complex web applications and services.
- You are adaptable and able to work across various technical systems and concerns.
