Job Description
Engineering Manager leading Platform Ecosystems team at OP Labs creating developer tools. Overseeing engineering productivity and mentoring team members in a remote global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead our Platform Ecosystems team responsible for providing a streamlined developer experience
- Build tools and reference implementations for Superchain users
- Empower the engineering team to achieve high technical productivity
- Manage team career development through continuous feedback and mentoring
- Collaborate closely with product team to set engineering priorities
Requirements:
- 1+ years of people management experience at a high-growth startup
- Experience recruiting and building high-performing engineering teams
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams
- Experience managing and developing both junior engineers as well as senior individual contributors
- Demonstrated interest and participation in the crypto/web3 ecosystem—full-time work experience in crypto is not required but is a plus
- Significant experience as a hands-on software engineer. Full-stack experience is a plus
- Experience in Typescript or Go
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly evolving, cutting edge industry
- Clear and persuasive writing and in-person communication
