Job Description

Epic Enterprise Project Manager managing healthcare information technology projects with a focus on budget and schedule adherence. Collaborating with IT and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development and execution of healthcare information technology demands and projects
  • Ensures adherence to budget, schedule and scope and business needs using established Enterprise Project Management Office processes and standards
  • Establishes targets, benchmarks, and success criteria for project delivery
  • Plans, organizes, controls, and evaluates projects from initiation to implementation
  • Develops project demands based on the initial idea request
  • Prepares and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and financial records
  • Collaborates with Information Technology teams to ensure solution compliance with approved enterprise technical direction and architectural practices
  • Actively identifies, mitigates, and tracks potential risks during the entire project lifecycle
  • Conducts post-implementation evaluations and lessons learned sessions to assess project outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of experience required (or equivalent knowledge) in Information Technology or related field
  • Typically requires 3 to 6 years of experience in project management in Information Technology with a proven record of successful project delivery
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to include demand and project management, while coordinating and motivating teammates toward common goals
  • Ability to establish goals, milestones, and priorities, and to instruct, guide, assign, advise/ mentor project teams and Associate level project managers
  • Proven ability for risk identification, assessment, and contingency planning
  • Proficient in the use of project management methodologies and processes
  • Experience in Microsoft O365 and Strategic Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
