Job Description

Epicor P21 Configuration Specialist optimizing financial modules for Trissential's clients. Collaborate with finance leadership while configuring and supporting P21 financial systems in a remote role.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain P21 financial modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting
  • Set up and maintain chart of accounts, posting rules, fiscal calendars, and accounting controls
  • Ensure accurate integration between operational modules and the general ledger
  • Identify automation opportunities and improve financial workflows within P21
  • Partner with Finance leadership to align configurations with GAAP and audit requirements
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
  • Act as the P21 financial SME for internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs within P21 or BI tools

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Epicor Prophet 21 financial modules
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP-driven workflows
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments for distribution or manufacturing
  • Ability to translate financial requirements into effective ERP configurations
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • SQL and P21 reporting experience
