Job Description

Consultant for design and implementation of financing mechanisms at Unitaid. Engaging stakeholders to advance health financing initiatives and contribute to innovative financial solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, structuring and institutionalization of CF and RBF mechanisms
  • Engage effectively with a range of financing partners
  • Provide technical advisory and implementation support across the financing value chain
  • Develop deliverables aligned with the NGF implementation plan

Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree in business administration, financial management, economics, or international development
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in health financing, development finance, or investment banking
  • Proven track record in structuring multi-million health financing projects and initiatives across Africa and beyond
  • Ability to prepare Board-facing materials, donor briefs, and operate within multilateral governance frameworks
  • Strong project management skills
  • Expert knowledge of English
