Job Description

Executive Admissions Representative guiding prospective students through enrollment at Ancora Education. Conducting outreach, interviews, and admissions support while meeting regulated activity standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with prospective students to support their decision to attend school
  • Communicate the school’s philosophy and features and advocate for prospective students
  • Meet the school’s quantitative minimum activity standards accurately, professionally, compliantly, and ethically
  • Operate within and evaluate monthly activity against minimum activity standards
  • Develop and manage action plans to meet qualitative performance standards
  • Assist prospective students through the admissions process in compliance with federal and state regulations, school policies and procedures, and accrediting standards
  • Conduct telephone and in-person interviews and use chat, text messaging, and email to identify prospects and determine educational needs, concerns, and interests
  • Develop rapport and maintain frequent contact throughout the enrollment cycle
  • Partner with Financial Aid and Academics to provide high-quality service
  • Provide quality service to Veterans and Agencies and facilitate outside events with organizations and students
  • Assist the Admissions department with support and training needs as applicable
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service
  • Computer skills required
  • Excellent verbal communication, particularly telephonic, and good written communication skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for multiple concurrent tasks
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes in work environment or schedule
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds via phone, email, text, and in-person
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a highly structured and regulated work environment
  • Ability to work remotely in any/all states in which Ancora is licensed/approved to do business
  • Experience with Google products (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) preferred
  • Four-year degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or international equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in post-secondary education preferred as an alternative to the preferred degree
  • Ability to use applicable school systems, databases, and tools
  • Persistence, positive attitude, self-motivating work style, and mature, positive, collaborative interpersonal skills
