Job Description

Executive Admissions Representative guiding prospective students through enrollment at Ancora Education. Conducting admissions outreach and partnering with Financial Aid and Academics.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with prospective students to support their decision to attend school
  • Communicate the school’s philosophy and features and advocate for prospective students
  • Meet established quantitative minimum activity standards accurately, professionally, compliantly, and ethically
  • Develop and manage action plans to meet qualitative performance standards
  • Assist prospective students through the admissions process in accordance with federal and state regulations, school policies, procedures, and accrediting standards
  • Conduct telephone and in-person interviews and use chat, text messaging, and email to identify prospects and determine educational needs, concerns, and interests
  • Develop rapport and maintain frequent contact throughout the enrollment cycle
  • Partner with Financial Aid and Academics to deliver high-quality service
  • Provide quality service to veterans and agencies and facilitate outside events
  • Assist the Admissions department with support and training needs as applicable

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service
  • Computer skills required
  • Excellent verbal communication, particularly telephonic, and good written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively use applicable school systems, databases and tools
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changes in work environment or schedule
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a highly structured and regulated work environment
  • Four-year degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or international equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in post-secondary education may substitute for the preferred four-year degree
  • Experience with Google products (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) preferred
