Job Description
Virtual Family Nurse Practitioner delivering evidence-based telehealth primary care for One Medical, a healthcare provider. Treating patients through video, phone triage, and email follow-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Treat patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
- Participate in continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles
- Apply specific clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care
- Work as part of the One Medical Virtual Medical Team providing evidence-based virtual medical care in concert with primary care providers
Requirements:
- Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Currently licensed in OR, with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts; every other Saturday and Sunday required
- Ability to work shifts ranging from 7am–6pm PST, 12pm–11pm PST, and 1pm–12am PST
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Openness to feedback and reflection
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
