Job Description
Field Engineer helping Unikraft deliver hyperscale-efficient cloud infrastructure through customer deployments, optimization, and CI/CD. Advising clients and shaping the next-generation cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to onboard and migrate complex infrastructure onto Unikraft Cloud
- Troubleshoot, refine, and ensure the performance and reliability of customer deployments
- Use Docker, Dockerfiles, and Linux-based systems to support and scale infrastructure
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment and integration
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap
- Work across diverse environments and languages throughout the customer adoption lifecycle
- Help shape the user experience, core infrastructure, product direction, and customer success
Requirements:
- Strong experience with containers, Docker, Dockerfiles, Linux, and CI/CD design
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams
- Computer science or equivalent background
- Ability to learn fast and adapt to different runtimes, build systems, and environments, including Rust, Node, Go, Python, and C++
- Familiarity with OCI standards, QEMU/KVM, Firecracker, and Cloud-Hypervisor is a plus
- Direct customer-facing experience is a plus
