Job Description
Field Scientist supporting Cytiva, a life sciences and biotechnology solutions company, with filtration process integration. Providing customer trials, technical consultation, troubleshooting, and implementation support across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical pre- and post-sales support for integrating Cytiva filtration technologies into customer processes
- Collaborate with commercial and R&D teams as part of the EU Filtration Customer Success team
- Apply normal flow filtration and tangential flow filtration products to create innovative process solutions
- Conduct feasibility assessments, technical consultations, customer training, and bench-scale trials
- Maintain close customer engagement throughout projects to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction
- Travel to customer sites for technical meetings, test work execution, technical presentations, and project reviews
- Provide consultation on scale-up and scale-down studies, testing plans, data analysis, process sizing, compatibility recommendations, troubleshooting, and field investigations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering field
- 3+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry within MSAT, Process Development, Manufacturing, or a related technical function
- Experience providing technical support and working directly with customers
- Fluent French (written and spoken)
- Business-level English (written and spoken)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support customers across Europe
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework for drug manufacturing and biopharmaceutical production is a plus
- Knowledge of purification and filtration techniques used in bioprocessing and drug manufacturing is a plus
- Proficiency in an additional European language is a plus
- Ability to work remotely from home
- Must be able to travel to customer sites
