Job Description

Field Service Engineer providing technical support and system installation for semiconductor solutions across the US region. Collaborating with customers on real-time assistance and maintenance for systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customers receive high level of support through real time communication and system knowledge
  • Install new systems within the US region
  • Respond to customer requests for tool support and regular maintenance
  • Provide technical assistance in real time in both onsite and remote situations
  • Read electrical and hardware schematics
  • Communicate daily status both internally and externally
  • Manage time in high pressure situations
  • Show flexibility and adaptability

Requirements:

  • Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Industry
  • College/University degree in engineering
  • Ability to identify and use common hand tools
  • Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting
  • Troubleshooting experience in electrical, mechanical and software applications
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills in a technical environment
  • Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the US and internationally, approximately 75% of the time
