Job Description

Operations and Maintenance Engineer ensuring reliable performance of Cambi’s systems in Hawaii by leading maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to maintain operational integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute preventive maintenance for installed systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, from fault finding to repair
  • Replace and manage the lifecycle of critical components
  • Follow up on and manage spare parts purchasing and delivery
  • Verify and document system performance after interventions
  • Plan and manage resolution of complex technical issues
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Act as the main technical contact for clients in Hawaii
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners
  • Monitor system condition and identify risks to performance
  • Ensure systems operate in accordance with design expectations
  • Drive continuous improvements based on field insights
  • Identify opportunities for upgrades and service growth
  • Support technical discussions and lifecycle service development
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

  • Engineer within mechanical, process, chemical, automation or process technician.
  • Or certificate of Craftsmanship, Technical College within automation, process, mechanical, electrical.
  • > 3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Experience from wastewater, pulp and paper, biogas or agriculture industry would be an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments.
  • The position requires professional proficiency in English.
  • Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
  • A boiler Certificate or experience operating a boiler is an advantage.
