Job Description

Finance Manager overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting for Intuitive Health’s joint venture and managed healthcare operations. Supporting emergency and urgent care facility expansion with hospital partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting for assigned joint venture and management services agreement emergency/urgent care facility operations
  • Interface with hospital partner Finance teams and Intuitive Health Finance staff regarding financial reporting
  • Review hospital partner accounting records and data for accurate and comprehensive reporting and operational metrics
  • Analyze and explain key drivers behind financial performance
  • Perform periodic revenue cycle analysis
  • Present analysis, insights, and recommended actions to management
  • Manage monthly reporting and lead monthly/quarterly financial reviews with hospital partners and Intuitive Health management
  • Support reporting requests from the healthcare-focused private equity investor
  • Lead and coordinate annual budgeting for assigned partner operations with multiple fiscal year-ends
  • Coordinate and guide new joint venture and management services agreement partners through Finance implementation efforts
  • Identify operational and financial improvement opportunities and coordinate implementation with hospital partner and Operations teams
  • Report to the VP of Finance and collaborate closely with Operations and partner Finance and Accounting teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years minimum experience
  • 2 years minimum of healthcare experience
  • Audit experience is a plus
  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements, their relationships, and underlying business operations
  • Experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods, such as operations analytics and financial forecasting
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects for competing internal and external clients
  • Ownership and accountability for tasks/projects, including timely delivery of analyses and quality of final work products
  • Superior judgment, analytical abilities, and decision-making skills
  • Expert-level computer skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Excel (expert), PowerPoint (advanced), Word and Outlook (intermediate)
  • Experience with FP&A software is a huge plus
