Job Description
Finance Project Manager responsible for leading EMEA finance operations and audit processes. Managing SOX controls and cross-functional finance projects with a focus on organizational transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end audit calendar for 10+ EMEA entities, ensuring all milestones are met and external auditor requirements are delivered accurately
- Track audit findings to closure by driving root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and control re-performance
- Lead cross-functional finance projects (IT, Customer Success, Finance) from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with transformation goals
- Drive the implementation of SOX controls and manage finance policy governance, including Delegation of Authority and Segregation of Duties
- Identify operational gaps and spearhead automation or system enhancements to improve finance efficiency
- Act as the central bridge between internal departments and external partners, providing regular strategic updates to the EMEA Finance Director and VP of Finance
- Support team-wide adoption of new systems and processes through clear documentation, training, and a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 5–7+ years experience in audit, internal controls, or finance transformation within a multinational environment
- Proven success in managing multi-country audits and leading cross-functional projects
- A deep understanding of SOX controls and finance policy governance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
