Job Description
Finance internship at Sigma Software, an international technology group. Supporting accounting, audits, tax risks, reporting, analytics, and expense management across jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a 4-month online Finance internship
- Work 3–4 hours per day, with 2–3 one-hour sessions per week during the first weeks, followed by 2 half-hour sessions per week
- Work in one or several focus areas depending on development path and team needs
- Conduct international and management audits in line with international standards
- Assess tax risks in a multi-jurisdictional structure and prepare transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking
- Prepare financial reporting and management analytics across service companies, delivery projects, investment funds, and startups
- Manage corporate expense cards, including usage policies, expense control and analysis, and accounting automation
- Support international accounting and tax compliance across jurisdictions
- Handle Ukrainian accounting, fixed assets, accounting automation, charitable funds, and defence-related activities
- Collaborate with colleagues across interconnected Finance domains
Requirements:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting
- English sufficient to understand spoken communication and participate in work-related calls
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and confidence working with numbers and spreadsheets
- Willingness to learn and explore new tools, including AI
- Proactivity, responsibility, and a genuine interest in building a career in Finance
