Job Description

Finance internship at Sigma Software, an international technology group. Supporting accounting, audits, tax risks, reporting, analytics, and expense management across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a 4-month online Finance internship
  • Work 3–4 hours per day, with 2–3 one-hour sessions per week during the first weeks, followed by 2 half-hour sessions per week
  • Work in one or several focus areas depending on development path and team needs
  • Conduct international and management audits in line with international standards
  • Assess tax risks in a multi-jurisdictional structure and prepare transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking
  • Prepare financial reporting and management analytics across service companies, delivery projects, investment funds, and startups
  • Manage corporate expense cards, including usage policies, expense control and analysis, and accounting automation
  • Support international accounting and tax compliance across jurisdictions
  • Handle Ukrainian accounting, fixed assets, accounting automation, charitable funds, and defence-related activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues across interconnected Finance domains

Requirements:

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting
  • English sufficient to understand spoken communication and participate in work-related calls
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and confidence working with numbers and spreadsheets
  • Willingness to learn and explore new tools, including AI
  • Proactivity, responsibility, and a genuine interest in building a career in Finance
