Job Description
Auditor in Sri Lanka supporting global audit teams for agriculture, hotel, and financial services. Conducting audits and providing assurance services using international practices.
Responsibilities:
- Performing complex and specific audit procedures, while developing effective, client-focused audit strategies
- Plan, conduct and manage audit and assurance engagements in accordance with relevant international accounting and auditing standards
- Proactively building relationships that support our ability to provide tailored services that meet a wide range of assurance needs and contribute to new business development
- Prioritize and handle multiple assignments in challenging environments
Requirements:
- Be qualified/passed finalist/ finalists or strategic level students of CA Sri Lanka or ACCA
- At least 3 years of prior experience preferably in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm is a must
- Previous experience in auditing Financial Services, Agriculture, Hotel and hospitality entities is mandatory
- Having hands-on skills in using audit software would be an added advantage
- Flexibility to work in different time-zones and according to international calendar as well as long hours to complete allocated tasks, in a virtual work-from-home environment
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- Flexibility to constantly adapt in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail
- Team working skills and ability to work productively with multidisciplinary teams
