Job Description

Fleet billing specialist supporting Cox Fleet, a nationwide mobile truck maintenance and repair provider. Coordinating customer approvals, billing, technician dispatch, and preventative maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the billing process in all markets in the area
  • Manage the follow-up maintenance transaction lifecycle from origination until the customer unit is in the repair technician’s control/custody
  • Document and annotate each customer contact accurately and promptly in Cox Fleet systems
  • Provide customer service for internal and external customer calls
  • Establish positive customer rapport and maintain professionalism
  • Obtain customer approval for repairs and services
  • Proactively contact customers to schedule preventative maintenance
  • Communicate with Field Operations to schedule appropriate technicians to accounts
  • Encourage customers to schedule repairs and maintenance in advance
  • Develop and improve company capabilities in dispatching and service scheduling
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • Alternative qualification: any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience
  • Alternative qualification: 5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build positive relationships, and become a trusted partner
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance a variety of tasks
  • Strong Excel and data entry skills
  • Ability to learn FSCA IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, and RO Writer
  • Common knowledge of the trucking industry
  • Fleet maintenance or automotive/trucking transportation experience helpful
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
  • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
