Job Description
Fleet billing specialist supporting Cox Fleet, a nationwide mobile truck maintenance and repair provider. Coordinating customer approvals, billing, technician dispatch, and preventative maintenance scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the billing process in all markets in the area
- Manage the follow-up maintenance transaction lifecycle from origination until the customer unit is in the repair technician’s control/custody
- Document and annotate each customer contact accurately and promptly in Cox Fleet systems
- Provide customer service for internal and external customer calls
- Establish positive customer rapport and maintain professionalism
- Obtain customer approval for repairs and services
- Proactively contact customers to schedule preventative maintenance
- Communicate with Field Operations to schedule appropriate technicians to accounts
- Encourage customers to schedule repairs and maintenance in advance
- Develop and improve company capabilities in dispatching and service scheduling
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field
- Alternative qualification: any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience
- Alternative qualification: 5 years’ experience in a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build positive relationships, and become a trusted partner
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance a variety of tasks
- Strong Excel and data entry skills
- Ability to learn FSCA IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, and RO Writer
- Common knowledge of the trucking industry
- Fleet maintenance or automotive/trucking transportation experience helpful
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
