Job Description

Full-Stack Developer building Nutrium’s nutrition counseling platform. Developing reliable web features for dietitians and patients with Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Help design, develop, and improve features in Nutrium’s web platform
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality, on-time product features
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality and continuous improvement
  • Investigate, debug, and fix issues to ensure a reliable user experience
  • Learn from and support senior developers while growing full-stack development skills
  • Stay up to date with web development best practices and tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–3 years of experience as a full-stack web developer, including backend development
  • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining server applications in dynamic, iterative environments
  • Proficiency in a web development framework; Ruby on Rails is a plus
  • Familiarity with a modern frontend framework; React is a plus
  • Experience designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Comfortable working with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL
  • Proficient with Git for version control and collaboration
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Redis is nice to have
  • Proficient in Portuguese and English
  • AI-native mindset and enthusiasm for using intelligent tools in everyday work
  • Bonus: based in the north of Portugal (Braga/Porto)
