Job Description

Group compliance executive building CXM Group’s architecture across FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education. Owning global licensing, regulator relationships, M&A integration, and AI-enabled legal operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the CEO
  • Lead the compliance function, including the Group Paralegal and compliance personnel embedded across CXM Group companies
  • Build and deploy a group-wide compliance reporting framework covering all regulated entities
  • Create a searchable, indexed, cross-referenced AI-enabled legal document database
  • Define and operationalise internal legal service-level agreements
  • Track contract-review and contract-drafting throughput against 24-hour and 48-hour standards
  • Deploy legal and compliance risk-monitoring tools across FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education
  • Drive the South African broker-dealer acquisition and VARA licensing programme to defined milestones
  • Secure MiCA passporting for the Norwegian crypto exchange
  • Scope and structure acquisition targets in LATAM and Southeast Asia
  • Oversee group-wide legal and compliance communications and audit trails
  • Monitor brand, regulatory, and compliance risk across business verticals and target markets
  • Research legislation, regulatory guidance, and enforcement trends across jurisdictions
  • Build and maintain compliance reporting infrastructure with Operations and IT
  • Inventory, organise, analyse, index, and maintain legal agreements across the group
  • Serve as primary point of contact for regulators across all jurisdictions
  • Prepare regulatory responses and coordinate regulator visits and meetings
  • Personally handle high-stakes, novel, or regulator-facing agreements

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated command of tier-one regimes: CySEC, FCA, NFA, and ASIC
  • Working knowledge of offshore and emerging-market frameworks including UAE, Mauritius, Seychelles, SVG, and Cambodia
  • Working knowledge of MiCA and global crypto licensing regimes
  • Direct regulator engagement experience, including managing inquiries, coordinating responses, and representing a group’s compliance posture
  • M&A and licensing fluency, including acquisition structuring and entity integration from a compliance perspective
  • Ability to assess regulatory exposure and coordinate with external counsel
  • Experience deploying AI tooling in legal workflows is a strong advantage
  • Ability to set standards, delegate effectively, and hold a team accountable for throughput
  • Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions, asset classes, and regulated entities
  • Ability to manage parallel licensing processes and active regulator relationships
