Job Description
Head of Delivery leading software and technology project delivery for Azumo, an AI development firm. Managing Agile teams, portfolios, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development and custom technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Guide and coach the Project Management team, fostering continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence
- Identify and remove impediments and risks affecting team velocity and project delivery
- Apply and champion Agile methodologies to manage project workflows and ensure timely delivery
- Communicate project updates, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders
- Oversee billing, time tracking, and budget management for project portfolios
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams to ensure continuous delivery of products and services
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in an IT Delivery Management role with a focus on Agile methodologies
- C1 English skills (essential)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with JIRA and Notion
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- The candidate’s experience as a DM will be evaluated based on their past role
- Experience delivering AI, ML, or data-driven software projects, a meaningful advantage given Azumo's specialization
