Job Description
Head of Local Office Transformation leading transformation projects for Awaze's local office network. Managing multiple concurrent projects while ensuring excellent experiences for colleagues, homeowners, and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of local office transformation projects from site completion through to operational handover, travelling extensively across the UK with regular overnight stays.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and governance across multiple concurrent programmes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on schedule.
- Manage contractors, suppliers and external partners to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Monitor capital expenditure, forecast costs and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance without compromising quality.
- Ensure every location meets brand standards, operational requirements and delivers an outstanding experience for colleagues, homeowners and guests.
- Lead project risk management, proactively resolving issues and providing clear stakeholder communication throughout each project.
- Coordinate opening readiness activities, including technology, facilities, operational setup and launch planning.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve transformation processes to support future growth.
Requirements:
- Strong project management expertise, including planning, governance, risk management and multi-project delivery.
- Excellent financial management skills with experience controlling capital budgets, forecasting and commercial negotiations.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers and third-party partners to agreed quality, safety and delivery standards.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence working across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
- Bonus points if you have experience within hospitality, retail, property or facilities management environments, hold a relevant project management qualification, or have experience within the travel & tourism industry.
