Job Description

Head of Quantitative Trading building automated pricing, risk, and trading models for a B2B sportsbook technology platform. Leading quant automation across European and Latin American operator markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the quantitative team covering in-play and pre-match pricing models, risk and liability models, and trading automation
  • Own models for bet builder and same-game pricing, cash-out valuation, personalisation, and market availability
  • Define the automation sequence with the VP R&D Trading and Chief Trading Officer
  • Determine which markets, sports, and processes are automated first and establish evidence required at each gate
  • Own model quality across margin, hold, price accuracy, and market availability
  • Collaborate with R&D trading teams and the AI core to productionise models and develop the supporting data platform
  • Redefine the human trader role toward model supervision and exception handling
  • Deliver autonomous in-play football pricing, automated risk and liability limits, a gated automation roadmap, improved product pricing, and a redesigned trading operating model

Requirements:

  • Experience building or running automated pricing and risk models at scale
  • Sportsbook or high-frequency trading model experience strongly preferred
  • Deep quantitative background in statistics, machine learning, and stochastic modelling
  • Hands-on modelling ability
  • Experience taking pricing models from research into live production books
  • Understanding of the operational and cultural side of model-driven trading
  • Rigorous measurement and ability to validate model performance before production use
  • AI-first approach to modelling, research, and development
  • Credibility with traders and engineers
