Job Description
Lead SEO/AEO efforts driving traffic growth for 10k+ restaurant locations. Oversee a team while collaborating with product and engineering for improved performance.
Responsibilities:
- Define hypotheses on how to best drive traffic growth across Owner’s ~10k restaurant locations, drawing on the latest SEO/AEO industry knowledge, algorithm changes, and impact trends
- Systematize decision-making on determining the best SEO strategy for each Owner customer during the launch process
- Build systems and processes for effectively handling inbound customer questions and concerns about their SEO/AEO strategy and performance
- Build systems and processes for proactively identifying locations that are underperforming on traffic acquisition and making changes to improve performance
- Hire, manage, and develop a small team of experts on local SEO/AEO
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the EPD team, partnering with Product and Engineering on determining how to evolve the capabilities of our automated systems for SEO/AEO
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in driving organic traffic acquisition, with a preference for experience in local SEO
- 3+ years of experiencing managing SEO experts or support/success teams for SMB customers
- Track record of results: you have a demonstrated history of using SEO expertise to drive measurable improvements in traffic acquisition
- Customer-oriented mindset: you dig deep to understand your customers’ problems and how to best help them find success
- Clear written and verbal communication: you’re an force for clarity and alignment across levels and functions
- Strong data fluency: you define metrics to effectively understand your team’s performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Demonstrated team leadership: you know how to attract and retain top performers, and you consistently elevate team’s performance through coaching, QA calibration, and feedback loops
