Job Description
Project Executive managing large construction and retrofit projects for healthcare facilities in Asia Pacific region. Leading multifaceted teams and overseeing significant federal projects across Japan and South Korea.
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary leader for the overall performance of Johnson Control’s Federal projects involving multiple medical facilities and hospitals across multiple sites throughout South Korea, Japan, and Guam, typically $50M or greater in scope
- Supports program development effort, management plan development, and monitoring progress
- Develops cost estimates
- Makes presentations to Executive Management on current and forecasted performance
- Evaluates and reviews overall subcontracting strategies
- Maintains relationships with Principals of major subcontractors
- Oversees monthly performance evaluations of strategic programs and provides reports to management
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of assigned projects
- Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements
- Responsible for overall program asset management including collections, cost control, progress billings, and payables
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in construction and renovation of healthcare facilities
- Proven advanced Construction/ Project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple large projects of $50M or greater
- High-level Construction Management process competencies
- Proven track record of managing very large and complex projects within time constraints and budget
- Ability to manage, coordinate and supervise the construction process from conceptual development stage through construction
- High-level understanding of contract language and project accounting
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency in speaking to large audiences
- Able to lead and direct diverse teams
- Strong personal computer working capabilities in MS Office and basic Windows environment
- Familiarity with standard construction industry software, including scheduling with Primavera P6, MS Project
- Experience utilizing Construction/Project Management Software (Procore preferred)
- U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance
- Korean or Japanese language skills would be a benefit.
