Job Description
Healthcare Sales & Support Specialist supporting patient coordination and customer communication for healthcare services. Requires clinical experience and excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient follow-up calls and lead nurturing
- Schedule consultations and appointments
- Coordinate virtual consultations and calendar management
- Manage phone calls and routing through Google Voice
- Respond to consultation inquiries submitted through Google Forms
- Support administrative task management through Asana
- Process prior authorizations and insurance verification
- Assist with insurance reimbursement coordination
- Prepare itemized receipts and invoices
- Support billing-related administrative workflows
- Submit out-of-network insurance claims
- Educate clients about medical wigs, cranial prosthetics, and hair extension services
- Explain financing and payment options professionally and confidently
- Help communicate the value of higher-end medical products
- Support consultation follow-up and appointment conversion efforts
- Provide customer service support across both business lines
Requirements:
- Nursing background or prior clinical healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Experience with prior authorizations, insurance verification, and healthcare administrative workflows
- Strong customer service and patient communication skills
- Previous experience handling appointment scheduling and consultation coordination
- HIPAA awareness and professionalism
- Comfortable discussing products, pricing, and consultation options confidently
- Strong multitasking and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently and reduce operational burden on the owner
- Compassionate and professional communication style, especially when working with clients experiencing hair loss or medical concerns
- Communication Requirements
- Clear and professional English communication skills
- Minimal to neutral accent preferred for phone-based communication
- Strong confidence handling phone calls, follow-ups, and consultation coordination
- Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused demeanor
- Technical Skills & Systems ExperienceExperience with the following tools is preferred:
- Google Forms
- Asana
- Google Voice or similar phone systems
- Administrative organization and workflow management tools
- Candidates should also be comfortable learning and managing manual workflows and client communication systems.
