Job Description

IAM Project Manager coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver IAM capabilities for EHR modernization at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Managing projects and ensuring successful execution of IT lifecycle processes within complex stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with VA, DoD, and Cerner teams to deliver IAM capabilities that align with EHR modernization objectives.
  • Manage ODCIO IAM activities related to site deployment, training, and ongoing operational requirements.
  • Support documentation, reporting, and information flow for EHRM-IO program needs.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide stewardship for action item and decision tracking to ensure accountability and progress.
  • Track project performance metrics including cost, schedule, and deliverable quality.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical or project management role.
  • Proven experience managing Information Technology (IT) projects.
  • Strong understanding of system development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical discipline (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree).
