Job Description
IAM Project Manager coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver IAM capabilities for EHR modernization at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Managing projects and ensuring successful execution of IT lifecycle processes within complex stakeholder environments.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with VA, DoD, and Cerner teams to deliver IAM capabilities that align with EHR modernization objectives.
- Manage ODCIO IAM activities related to site deployment, training, and ongoing operational requirements.
- Support documentation, reporting, and information flow for EHRM-IO program needs.
- Facilitate meetings and provide stewardship for action item and decision tracking to ensure accountability and progress.
- Track project performance metrics including cost, schedule, and deliverable quality.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical or project management role.
- Proven experience managing Information Technology (IT) projects.
- Strong understanding of system development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multi-stakeholder environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical discipline (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree).
