Job Description

Implementation Project Manager delivering Gridsight’s grid-modernisation software to utility customers. Coordinating enterprise deployments, cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders from signature through business as usual.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and coordinate the implementation process from customer signature through go-live, hypercare and business as usual
  • Run 2-4 implementations concurrently on different tracks
  • Devise and deliver implementation plans, including resourcing, dependencies and risks
  • Build stakeholder relationships with customer project teams and executives
  • Coordinate cross-functional Gridsight teams across Customer Data, Product, Engineering and Customer Success
  • Liaise with the customer project lead and engage customer-side SMEs
  • Represent the Gridsight product and technology stack to advise customers and protect Product Squads from disruption
  • Own scope, milestones, dependencies, resourcing, customer responsibilities and critical paths
  • Maintain project status, forecast go-live and risk views, and communicate internally and to customers
  • Manage scope, data and timeline changes; re-plan, re-baseline and drive decisions
  • Act as the primary customer contact through steering committees, working groups and executive updates
  • Set expectations, communicate plans, surface problems and drive customer-side approvals and commitments
  • Run a clean handover to Customer Success at go-live
  • Feed implementation lessons into improved templates, tooling, processes and communications
  • Identify recurring friction suitable for product, tooling or automation improvements
  • Utilise, improve or create methodologies, playbooks and standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience running multiple, 7-figure enterprise-grade projects, implementations or integrations end to end with accountability for the outcome
  • Experience coordinating a team of resources, often distributed across Australia
  • Ability to prioritise, juggle and execute at pace - indexing to what really matters
  • Thoughtful, structured relationship management skills that build rapport with customers from project team to senior executives
  • Emotional intelligence to hold customers to their commitments and have difficult conversations
  • Technical fluency to learn, understand and represent our platform and stack
  • Ability to offer credible guidance on data, integrations and system architecture
  • Proven ability to excel in ambiguity within a fast-growing company where processes are continually built and refined
  • Potential energy, utilities or grid domain experience
  • Exposure to utility data platforms
  • Experience in a scaling startup
