Job Description
In-house French legal counsel evaluating AI-generated answers on commercial and contract law. Comparing LLM outputs, scoring responses, and providing concise expert feedback for Mercor’s AI projects.
Responsibilities:
- Run the same set of prompts across two AI (LLM) platforms
- Compare outputs from both platforms side by side
- Score each response against a standardized rubric
- Submit concise written feedback for every evaluation
- Review and benchmark AI systems’ answers to real questions of French law
- Collaborate with leading researchers on projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years as in-house legal counsel practising in France
- Strong command of French law, especially commercial and contract matters
- Sharp attention to detail
- Precise written communication
- Ability to work independently to a rubric and to deadlines
- Availability for an initial commitment of approximately 10 hours
- Must work under a confidentiality NDA
- Must be engaged as an independent contractor
- H1-B or STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported
