Job Description

Project Manager leading project teams in planning and implementing solutions for Jabil. Engaging stakeholders and ensuring scope and costs are agreed upon while mentoring junior project managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams consisting of business and IT professionals
  • Conduct internal and vendor inquiries pertaining to the development of technology or information systems to meet current and projected business needs
  • Recommend, prepare and conduct training
  • Serve as escalation point for project risks and issues
  • Provide regular report updates to all stakeholders and project sponsors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD without experience
  • Ensure project scope and costs are agreed upon by the stakeholders
  • Prepare project plan(s) and implementation schedule(s)
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers and vendors
  • Active problem solving: recognize potential problem areas against the plan and identifies and implements alternative solutions
