Job Description
Infrastructure Project Manager at Capio Group managing IT projects and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure. Leading teams through project lifecycles and technical advisory in cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- manage project timelines and act as a technical advisor for design, deployment, and migration of systems across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments
- lead projects through all phases of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies
- act as Scrum Master, facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
- lead the development of the IT technology portfolio and manage a cloud infrastructure capacity plan
- present technical reports/recommendations to executives
- review business needs to recommend and implement policy changes ensuring regulatory compliance
- coordinate the procurement of products/services and manage vendor contracts
- implement and integrate enterprise networking, firewalls, servers, and optimize cloud configurations
Requirements:
- minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible project management experience managing large scale enterprise information technology (IT) projects
- minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading the design, build, and operation of highly consistent and scalable infrastructure on major platforms, with a strong preference for AWS
- minimum of three (3) years of experience demonstrating a broad technical understanding of extended networking domains, virtualization, and hybrid cloud integrations
- minimum of three (3) years of experience managing deployment, runtime, load balancing, autoscaling, and system performance tuning
- minimum of three (3) years of project management experience supporting projects with cross-functional stakeholder groups across business and IT
- minimum of three (3) years of experience with information and application security concepts, including public key encryption, remote access, access credentials, and certificate-based authentication
- must possess a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute.
