Job Description
Institutional Research Analyst at Berklee responsible for data collection and analysis for institutional compliance. Supporting accreditation processes and managing federally mandated reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate collection, verification, and analysis of institutional data
- Manage federal mandated reporting such as IPEDS
- Support reporting needs for accreditation, state approval, and compliance reporting
- Prepare materials in response to internal and external stakeholders' requests
- Document and maintain sources of institutional data
- Verify data accuracy and investigate discrepancies
- Design and maintain dashboards and conduct peer comparison benchmarking
- Support assessment initiatives through survey methodologies and data analysis
- Interpret data findings to provide actionable recommendations
Requirements:
- 3–5 years in Institutional Research or a related field
- Strong familiarity with IPEDS and compliance-related projects
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Strong skills in Excel and Google Suite
- Experience with student information systems
- Knowledge of R, Python, Tableau, or Qualtrics is a significant plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Handling confidential information with the highest level of discretion
- A proven ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining careful attention to detail
