Job Description

Integrations Engineer specializing in Workato platform, building AI-driven integration solutions at RSM. Collaborating with global teams on enterprise applications and data systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy integration recipes and automations on the Workato platform, incorporating AI-driven logic for intelligent data mapping, error handling, and workflow orchestration
  • Develop and implement AI-powered components within integration workflows, including natural language processing for data transformation, predictive routing, and anomaly detection
  • Architect end-to-end integration solutions connecting enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, and custom APIs
  • Build and maintain custom Workato connectors and SDK extensions to support proprietary systems and non-standard protocols
  • Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, logging, and monitoring frameworks to ensure high availability and reliability of integration flows
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable integration designs
  • Establish and enforce integration development best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing integration recipes to improve throughput and reduce latency
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for Workato recipe lifecycle management, including version control, testing, and promotion across environments
  • Stay current with Workato platform updates, AI trends, and emerging integration technologies to continuously improve the integration practice

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration development, with at least 2+ years focused on the Workato platform
  • Proven experience building AI-driven or intelligent automation solutions leveraging machine learning models, NLP, or generative AI within integration workflows
  • Strong proficiency in Workato recipe development, connector SDK, Workato API Platform, and Workflow Apps
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns: pub/sub, request-reply, event-driven, batch processing, and real-time streaming
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhook configurations, and API gateway management
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or Java
  • Strong knowledge of data formats and standards (JSON, XML, CSV, EDI/ANSI X12)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub Enterprise) and CI/CD practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
