Job Description

Supply Chain Intern assisting in various functional areas for Northrop Grumman’s Melbourne team. Responsibilities include coordinating vendors, maintaining records, and analyzing data.

Responsibilities:

  • Support functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or specific project/business unit
  • Contact vendors and transportation companies
  • Ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are delivered on promised dates
  • Determine potential delays and coordinate to expedite material requirements
  • Maintain records and follow-up files of purchases and shipments
  • Gather, collect, track and verify data
  • Compile, review and analyze data
  • Use software for generating reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations
  • May design processes to enhance workflow

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university
  • Graduating after August 2026
  • Major in Global Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
  • Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
