Job Description
Inventory Manager optimizing supply chains for residential solar systems at IGS Solar. Ensuring efficient inventory deployment across installers and collaborating with diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in Residential Solar and the unique factors driving IGS Solar’s supply chain strategy.
- Deploy inventory to fulfill our network of installers’ equipment needs across 14+ states.
- Develop systems & processes to optimize how IGS tracks millions in inventory.
- Manage relationships & coordinate shipments to key distributors & installers.
- Lead inventory reporting and support contract compliance.
- Collaborate across internal & external teams: IT, Resi Solar Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Manufacturers, Investors, Finance, Insurance, Business Development.
- Perform ad-hoc business analysis and present actionable recommendations to IGS Solar leadership team.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or other applicable field.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, supply chain, procurement, logistics, or technology.
- Experience in Renewable Energy a plus.
- A passion for the rigor and dedication demanded by being a member of an emerging business at IGS.
- Curiosity, a positive attitude, self-motivation, strong analytical skills, and a bias for action.
- Exceptional organizational skills, advanced document management skills, technologically savvy, acute attention to detail.
- Able to adapt, grow and thrive in periods of uncertainty in an ever-changing competitive environment.
- Experience working cross functionally and collaboratively.
- Experience building standard operating procedures.
- Advanced Excel skills.
