Job Description

Talent Recruiter focusing on onboarding qualified linguists for GLOBO’s Interpreting Team. Engaging with interpreters and supporting operations for on-demand services.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying and onboarding qualified linguists to join GLOBO’s Interpreting Team
  • Constant linguist communication to ensure they are meeting client requirements
  • Identify and select candidates for Independent Contractor roles through active and passive sourcing
  • Conduct interviews with Independent Contractors
  • Negotiate competitive rates with Independent Contractors
  • Maintain positive relationships with Interpreters once on-boarded with GLOBO
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance and VRI Teams on new/existing hires and setting them up in GLOBO’s platform
  • Provide support for active interpreters in the form of 1099 verification letters, address changes, credentials updates, etc.
  • Communicate with Quality Assurance Team daily on new hires engagement
  • Pull reports/data/metrics for the weekly meetings
  • Work closely with sales, scheduling team and operations to scale the talent pool in sync with business needs
  • Maintain active presence on social media platforms
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • At least 3 years direct recruiting experience or working in the language industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite
  • Experience with Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Asian countries and languages
  • Ability to work independently in a decentralized environment, without the reliance on direct authority
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
  • Proven ability to interpret strategic and operational business requirements, providing expert advice and financial counsel
  • Broad understanding of current and emerging technology practices
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and follow-through
  • Value strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills; Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize needs
  • Strong sense of service and passion for the company and business
  • Willingness to submit to any requested background checks
  • Fluent in English
