Job Description

Senior Physician Recruiter managing end-to-end recruitment for physicians and APCs at ChristianaCare. Collaborating with clinical leaders to strengthen healthcare hiring.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for physicians, APCs, and other licensed clinical professionals within the Medical Group.
  • Conduct intake meetings, develop and execute sourcing strategies, and proactively build diverse and competitive candidate pipelines.
  • Engage and convert passive candidates through cold calling, social networking, and involvement in professional communities.
  • Coordinate and enhance both virtual and in-person site visit experiences for candidates.
  • Work closely with compensation and finance teams to structure offers, negotiate terms, and successfully close hires.
  • Maintain precise records in Workday to support compliance, affirmative action program activities, and requisition tracking.
  • Mentor Physician Recruiters, Talent Acquisition Specialists, and Associate TA Specialists, supporting the onboarding of new team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of full-cycle, high-volume, multi-level recruitment experience, including physician positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage highly competitive searches where candidates are fielding multiple offers.
  • Expertise in behavioral interviewing, offer negotiation, and candidate influence strategies.
  • Proven track record of developing innovative and comprehensive sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with contingency and permanent placement vendor negotiations.
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking and executive-level engagement.
