Job Description
International Recruiter managing high-volume hiring for Operations teams at Whatnot. Leading sourcing strategies and ensuring a smooth candidate experience in a fast-growing startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead hiring for critical high-volume roles.
- Source strong talent through creative channels beyond LinkedIn.
- Act as a full-cycle recruiter from sourcing to closing candidates.
- Manage pipelines for 10-15 open roles concurrently.
- Assist with developing job posts, hiring plans, and rubrics.
- Iterate on candidate feedback to improve recruiting processes.
- Mentor peers and build a culture of continuous improvement in recruiting.
- Build scalable processes for recruiting workflows.
- Emphasize diversity in hiring practices.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of supporting hiring for Operations teams (including Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Fraud, and/or Business Operations)
- Know how to hire at high volumes, balancing quantity and quality.
- Comfortable operating as a full-stack recruiter, able to manage the entire process of a candidate end to end.
- Enjoy sourcing for positions and take pride in nurturing and building relationships with passive talent.
- Comfortable with ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Provide an incredible candidate experience, prioritizing a more human experience for all that interact with Whatnot during the hiring process.
- Extremely organized and can balance multiple competing priorities.
- Data-focused, measuring pipeline health to balance priorities and set hiring manager expectations.
- Champion for diversity hiring & inclusive interview practices.
