Job Description

International Recruiter managing high-volume hiring for Operations teams at Whatnot. Leading sourcing strategies and ensuring a smooth candidate experience in a fast-growing startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead hiring for critical high-volume roles.
  • Source strong talent through creative channels beyond LinkedIn.
  • Act as a full-cycle recruiter from sourcing to closing candidates.
  • Manage pipelines for 10-15 open roles concurrently.
  • Assist with developing job posts, hiring plans, and rubrics.
  • Iterate on candidate feedback to improve recruiting processes.
  • Mentor peers and build a culture of continuous improvement in recruiting.
  • Build scalable processes for recruiting workflows.
  • Emphasize diversity in hiring practices.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of supporting hiring for Operations teams (including Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Fraud, and/or Business Operations)
  • Know how to hire at high volumes, balancing quantity and quality.
  • Comfortable operating as a full-stack recruiter, able to manage the entire process of a candidate end to end.
  • Enjoy sourcing for positions and take pride in nurturing and building relationships with passive talent.
  • Comfortable with ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Provide an incredible candidate experience, prioritizing a more human experience for all that interact with Whatnot during the hiring process.
  • Extremely organized and can balance multiple competing priorities.
  • Data-focused, measuring pipeline health to balance priorities and set hiring manager expectations.
  • Champion for diversity hiring & inclusive interview practices.
