Job Description

Investigator Grants Specialist forecasting and costing clinical-trial grants for Worldwide Clinical Trials, a global CRO. Collaborating across commercial, project, clinical, and site-activation teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain Investigator Grants exports during the bidding and study template development phases
  • Work with appropriate teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely Investigator Grants deliveries
  • Support development and maintenance of processes, policies, SOPs, and related Investigator Grants documents
  • Advise Commercial Operations, Project Management, Business Development, Site Activation, Clinical Operations, and customers on forecasting strategies and risk mitigation
  • Review study protocols and coordinate with relevant departments to develop costing strategies for protocol-driven costs
  • Review study budgets and Investigator Grants operational costs
  • Participate in Commercial Operations activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report directly to the Investigator Grants Manager

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of global industry-standard benchmarks and fair market value
  • Proven global expertise using investigator grant software such as GrantPlan or Grants Manager
  • Experience reviewing and understanding study protocols, study budgets, and technical, medical, and legal Investigator Grants documents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, changing environment
  • Strong planning, strategizing, managing, monitoring, scheduling, critiquing, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of clinical trial agreements
  • Computer expertise with document and spreadsheet applications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, law, science, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in forecasting Investigator Grants
  • Adept knowledge of the biopharmaceutical/CRO industry and applicable local regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of global industry-standard benchmarks, fair market value, ICH and GCP Guidelines, and local compensation and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
  • Prefer experience with investigator grant forecasting tools such as GrantPlan or Grants Manager
