Job Description

IT M&A Project Manager overseeing IT integration efforts for newly acquired accounting firms. Leading system migrations and ensuring smooth technology onboarding with a focus on cybersecurity and data consolidation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end‑to‑end integration projects for newly acquired accounting firms
  • ensuring all IT systems, processes, and data are successfully aligned with firm standards
  • Coordinate system migrations, including email, document management, practice management software, workflow tools, and authentication systems
  • Facilitate change‑management activities, including communication plans, training sessions, and user adoption strategies
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Document all integration processes, decisions, and lessons learned to improve future acquisition playbooks
  • Drive continuous improvement by refining integration frameworks, templates, and best practices based on real‑world outcomes
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments to identify lessons learned

Requirements:

  • 5+ Experience in project management or related roles
  • at least 3 years in a senior project management capacity
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Project Management, IT or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
