Job Description
IT M&A Project Manager overseeing IT integration efforts for newly acquired accounting firms. Leading system migrations and ensuring smooth technology onboarding with a focus on cybersecurity and data consolidation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end integration projects for newly acquired accounting firms
- ensuring all IT systems, processes, and data are successfully aligned with firm standards
- Coordinate system migrations, including email, document management, practice management software, workflow tools, and authentication systems
- Facilitate change‑management activities, including communication plans, training sessions, and user adoption strategies
- Track and report project progress, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Document all integration processes, decisions, and lessons learned to improve future acquisition playbooks
- Drive continuous improvement by refining integration frameworks, templates, and best practices based on real‑world outcomes
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments to identify lessons learned
Requirements:
- 5+ Experience in project management or related roles
- at least 3 years in a senior project management capacity
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Project Management, IT or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
