Job Description
IT Operational Analyst improving Liberty Dental Plan’s business systems and technology operations. Translating stakeholder needs into technical solutions and supporting continuous process improvement remotely across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and actionable solutions
- Build stakeholder relationships and align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Provide updates on project progress, system enhancements, and issue resolution
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements
- Analyze systems and processes to identify performance gaps, technical deficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Maintain documentation for requirements, process changes, and implemented solutions
- Partner with IT teams to design and implement solutions improving system functionality and performance
- Support diagnosis and resolution of technical issues
- Monitor system effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Optimize IT systems and business processes
- Support technology initiatives improving operational efficiency, user experience, and organizational effectiveness
- Contribute to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT operational role focused on business analysis and systems improvement
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of data analysis, SQL, and reporting tools
- Experience with business analysis methodologies, process modeling, and IT troubleshooting
- Understanding of IT systems, operational processes, and systems improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), API integrations, and web-based applications
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment
- Comfort navigating complex challenges with limited standardization
- Detail-oriented approach and passion for process improvement and operational excellence
- Must work within the United States
